Salary: QAR 4,500 - 6,500

Position Summary:

As a specialized nurse in our childcare team, you'll be the heart of nurturing care for newborns and children. Your role is all about making sure they're healthy, happy, and thriving. From feeding and bathing to creating fun learning activities, you'll be their trusted caregiver. You'll also keep parents in the loop about their child's progress, building strong relationships along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Newborn and Childcare: Perform standard newborn and childcare duties including burping, swaddling, changing diapers, bathing, and feeding, ensuring the comfort and well-being of the child.

Establish Routines: Implement and maintain sleep and feeding time routines to promote consistency and structure for the child's daily activities.

Nutritional Support: Prepare and serve healthy meals for the child, including the weaning process, to support their growth and development.

Promote Healthy Sleep Habits: Encourage positive sleep associations and self-soothing techniques to foster healthy sleep patterns in the child.

Facilitate Learning and Exploration: Organize and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate the child's curiosity and allow for independent exploration and learning.

Ensure Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe environment for the child, including regular cleaning and disinfection of toys and play areas, to promote their health and safety.

Organize Baby's Space: Set up and organize the baby's room and perform other related tasks to create a comfortable and functional environment for the child.

Communication with Parents: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of the child's activities, development, and any notable incidents, and communicate effectively with parents daily to provide updates on their child's progress and well-being.

Key Requirements:

Due to the nature of the role, which involves intimate childcare, female candidates are required for this position.

Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a Midwifery Graduate providing solid foundation in healthcare and child development.

A valid Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) license is a prerequisite for this position.

Demonstrate relevant experience in pediatric nursing, childcare, or midwifery, with a proven track record of providing quality care to newborns, infants, and children.

Possess valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certifications, ensuring the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies involving infants and children.

Exhibit a genuine passion for working with babies and children, showing enthusiasm and dedication to their well-being and development.

Must possess a caring and compassionate attitude towards children and their families, providing empathetic support and nurturing care.

Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with children, parents, and healthcare professionals in a sensitive and supportive manner.

Ability to maintain composure and positivity under pressure, exhibits a polished and professional demeanor when interacting with both children and adults, ensuring a nurturing environment for the child.
