Main Duties:

• Assists sales leaders in the qualification of customer needs and performing pre-demo needs analysis

• Present demonstrations of the product - both standard and tailored to suspects and prospect - and compare/present our products positions vs. the competition

• Work with sales leaders on the development and execution of specific sales strategies

• Perform the technical pre-sales activities and report status and results to management

• Meet with OEM and Tier 1 customers and deliver product centric presentations

• Able to talk with different audiences, appropriately adjust technical content to meet different audience knowledge and interest levels

• Develop draft project plans for implementation along with any key risks and issues and their mitigation

• Develop Statements of Work based on contract, product requirements and schedule

• Report progress and issues to management in a timely manner. In particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates

• Possesses an understanding of sales methodologies and can apply them in a sales situation

• Travel required – Estimate 25%

Your Competencies:

• Experience with projects in automotive ADAS industry, including projects with OEM's and Tier 1 OEM Suppliers

• Development of ADAS algorithms, development of portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment, and with development of embedded software in C/C++ for ARM and/or X86 embedded systems, including applications and low level drivers

• Experience in development and implementation of software for single & mutli camera systems

• Implementation and integration of OEM specific Automotive Vehicle Networks (CAN and/or LIN) embedded software

• Knowledge of automotive industry regulations such as 16949 and 26262, and Knowledge of various diagnostic protocols such as UGS, ISO 14229, and KWP2000

• Knowledge of CAN & LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI, etc.

• Using a disciplined software development process based on Agile or SPICE/CMMi

• Experience with customer interface for all software related activities including customer design reviews, clarify and negotiate customer requirements

Your Background:

• BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent required

• 5 + years development experience in automotive electronics software preferred

• 3+ years presales experience in automotive electronics software preferred

• Project coordination experience with offshore development teams

• Flexibility in day-to-day work assignments

• High performance standards

• Able to foster harmonious working relationships with team members
