Job Summary:

The Shipping and Receiving Associate performs all duties necessary on assigned tasks while achieving and sustaining the safety, performance, and quality expectations set by Management. This position regularly partners with our front counter sales personnel to provide top quality service to our customers, or as we like to call them “Partners in Profit”. Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.Duties/Responsibilities:

Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner

Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing merchandise and equipment within the warehouse

Load and unload trucks, break down, sort, and restack product, lifting items as necessary occasionally operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.

Troubleshoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them

Pull orders using RF scanners, ensuring the orders are correct and load the trucks before the cutoff time

Perform daily housekeeping – Sweeping – Cleaning – Dusting

Cutting of fiberglass as assignedPreferred Skills/Abilities:

Forklift experience is a plus

Knowledge of HVAC products is a plusEducation and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

1-year of experience in a warehouse environment Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time

Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights

Having a good sense of balance

Having good eye-hand-foot coordination Work Environment

This job operates in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment. These conditions can vary between hot and cold extremes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving machinery and regular use of ladders is required to complete assigned work.
