This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Annual Salary: $63,265.32 plus full state employee benefits

Job related travel is extensive. - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

Days worked will be Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Hours worked may also include on-call, extended and/or weekend hours.

GENERAL FUNCTION

Under general direction, performs highly skilled, complex electrical work in the design and planning of electrical systems as well as supervising the work of others in maintaining and repairing such systems. This will involve overall responsibility for the electrical systems in an assigned agency, facility or designated area in accordance with the requirements of the Construction Industries Board.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of active or inactive licensure as an electrical contractor with the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATION

Must be licensed as an Electrical Contractor with the Construction Industries Board.

Job Responsibilities

Position is responsible for the performance of highly skilled, complex electrical work, designs and plans electrical systems as well as supervises the work of others in maintenance and repair of such systems.

Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, fire alarm systems and equipment in Agency owned facilities or designated areas in accordance with the requirements of the Construction Industries Board.

Responsible for supervision and assignment of work detail for assigned journeyman and other trade staff; estimates and orders materials and equipment for assigned projects and staff; provides interpretation of technical blue prints and prepares necessary projections for labor costs.

This position requires frequently lifting 50 to 150 lbs, pushing/pulling of 50 lbs.
