This is a 2nd Shift position.

Job Summary:

Transport finished goods and raw materials to manufacturing plants and or warehouse. They must also inspect their vehicle's mechanical state and perform preventative maintenance on their truck. They must, in addition, plan routes that will get them there quickly. This is a hybrid role where you will be driving the truck and operating a forklift, when you are not driving the truck you will be utlizing a forklift around the production facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Drive and operate trucks.

Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.

Pre-inspect truck.

Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.

Load and unload cargo.

When not driving the truck, you will be operating a forklift to move material around as needed.

Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.

Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge

Forklift experience preferred

Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day

Clean driving record

No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years

Listening and verbal communication skills

Dependability

Education and Experience:

Highschool Diploma/GED

Class B License
