Job Description:

Soliant is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Bloomfield, Connecticut. In this role, you will work with students with diverse learning needs, providing specialized instruction and support to ensure academic and social-emotional growth.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, adaptive skills, and social-emotional development

Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments

Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field

Connecticut Educator Certification in Special Education (065) or eligibility for certification

Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

Strong organizational and munication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

State Licensure Requirements:

Candidates must possess or be eligible for Connecticut Educator Certification in Special Education (065) to qualify for this position.
