What Will Your Job Look Like?

The VP, MCO Solutions is responsible for the daily operations, regulatory compliance, revenue cycle and customer satisfaction in the Managed Care Organization (MCO) setting. The VP, MCO Solutions works in collaboration with our Account Executives, Operations, MTM support departments, and Transportation Providers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of transportation services for their assigned plan(s). The VP, MCO Solutions will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure MTM is fully compliant with contract requirements as well as meeting the financial objectives of the organization.

This role is located in the western region of the country.

What You’ll Do:

Provide day-to-day oversight and monitoring to ensure business outcomes and goals are defined and met

Accountable for building and leading the account management team

Deliver the highest level of customer service, quickly and adeptly solving customer problems and responding with timely and accurate information

Develop, implement, review and revise policies and procedures for MCO operations

Maintain and drive ongoing relationships and growth with established clients

Ensure and monitor compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Utilize business intuition and experience to anticipate client and industry marketing concerns and proactively address them

Ensure all program activities are being performed accurately and consistently to ensure the program’s ongoing contractual and institutional compliance

Identify new client opportunities and support Senior Management in sales presentations

Manage and maintain existing account/client relationships

Assist in the development of RFP’s and marketing materials

Manage ongoing accreditation and quality management programs as required by client contract

Plan and implement systems to provide ongoing monitoring of compliance with systems redesign when needed

Provide leadership and management of direct and non-direct reports

Gain knowledge of and understand all aspects of the Client(s) and the contract(s)

Act as a liaison to ensure expectations are met and any requests for information are responded to in a timely manner

Track and maintain department budget to meet established financial goals

Monitor Client Satisfaction beyond statistical data

What You’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree

6+ years’ experience managing a large team of both direct and indirect reports

Experience managing complex contracts with SLA’s and government compliance

Experience contracting and negotiations

Experience establishing and managing all aspects of performance management

Experience managing employees at all levels of the organization

Even better if you have...

Master’s Degree, preferred

Experience with Lean processes; Six Sigma Certification preferred

Experience working with Medicaid and/or State programs preferred

At least 8 years previous experience in managing transportation, logistics or fleet management fields, preferred

Ability to build and maintain good relationships with community agencies and other critical stakeholders involved in healthcare access issues

Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations pertaining to Mobile Integrated Health required

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications to include Microsoft word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills is required

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people and job positions required

Must be easily adaptable to ever changing environment and requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Account management background preferred

Excellent documentation skills required

Proven leadership and communication skills are required

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems

Knowledge of managed care, quality improvement, contracting

Ability to establish and maintain operational structure

Ability understand and communicate Company vision

Strong business and financial acumen

Strong analytical and strategic planning skills

Salary Min: $175,000

Salary Max: $195,000
