The Role

As an accredited RANZCOG Training site, you will be offered structured positions aligned with the RANZCOG curriculum, providing inbuilt time for research, administrative tasks, and study.

Comprehensive teaching schedule with 4 hours of protected time per week.

Registrars have access to a wide range of clinical experiences, including rural and metropolitan rotations, in accordance with RANZCOG basic training requirements.

Unaccredited registrar positions are available to assist with upskilling and future career steps, such as applying for RANZCOG training or obtaining a Diploma. These roles are service-oriented and suitable for junior registrars seeking additional experience or overseas-trained doctors.

Reimbursement of relocation expenses for interstate candidates (subject to review and approval).While duties primarily focus on acute obstetrics, outpatient clinics, and emergency gynaecology, limited exposure to gynaecological operating is available. Training and supervision opportunities are provided for all roles. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology prioritizes work-life balance and supports choices related to family planning. The Facility

A level 6 tertiary referral centre with around 1900 births a year, and a busy neonatal ICU and a regional role extending throughout southern NSW adding over 200 level 3 admission per year.

The facility will give you access to all the relevant multidisciplinary areas of MFM training such as

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Adult ICU

Pathology Department

Emergency Department

Operating theatre and genetics clinicsThe Requirements

MBBS degree

Registered with AHPRA or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.

Sufficient experience and availability to participate in the after-hours on-call O&G roster
