Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM EST

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Data Scientist / Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for building and analyzing databases to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Development: Design, implement, and maintain databases to store and organize large volumes of structured and unstructured data efficiently.

Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Collect raw data from various sources and perform cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation to ensure data integrity and usability.

Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and data analysis techniques to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and generate actionable insights.

Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics, such as regression analysis, clustering, classification, and time series forecasting.

Data Visualization: Create clear and insightful data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and dashboards, to communicate findings and facilitate understanding for stakeholders.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, software developers, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements, provide analytical support, and deliver data-driven solutions.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and analytics techniques, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Excel and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
