HR Manager

Looking to take your HR Career to the next level? We have a position for you! Reporting into the Regional HR Manager, this is an onsite role with a company that offers development opportunities across their organization. The HR Manager will lead a team of HR professionals in a large facility. Must have HR experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments. Please apply if interested!

Location: Delaware County, NY. Relocation available!

Job Responsibilities:

Provides HR consulting expertise to all levels of the organization

Administers employee relations and engagement programs

Administers existing programs in accordance with established policies and procedures including EEO and ADA compliance

Consults with employees and manager to address root causes of issues and resolves through a systematic and analytical approach, including investigations. Makes recommendations to minimize potential employment liability

Consults with management team to analyze and assess peoples needs and issues. Develops and implements appropriate action plans

Manages recruitment and hiring process to ensure staffing needs are met for all non-exempt and exempt level positions

Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations (Federal, State, Local) laws and company policies/guidelines.

Performs periodic training for all employees’ levels to include new business processes, policies and compliance training

Acts as the change agent for the functions supported

Implements HR initiatives to improve organization effectives including performance management systems talent development, organization design, and cultural development

Provides affirmative action program and administration in support of AAP, EEO, and OFCCP compliance

Acts as the functional lead for internal and external audits. Perform pre-audit activities to minimize risk and maximize audit results

Identifies opportunities and recommends changes to increase performance, reduce costs, and positively impact HR metrics through analytical approaches including the tracking of key data and analyzing trends

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, HR or related field

5+ years of HR experience in employee relations, recruiting, consulting, leadership development, talent development, and compensation/benefit administration

2+ years of HR experience working in a Union environment

MUST HAVE experience in HR in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment. Food Manufacturing ideal.

Ability to consult with business partners on talent management and organizational design issues

Demonstrates business maturity and integrity, especially when dealing with highly confidential information

High level of emotional intelligence with strong self-awareness and ability to build strong relationships with business leaders

Ability to lead others through the problem solving and decision-making process

Proficient in MS Office Suite. HRIS/Workday a plus
