About This Opportunity: As a Technical Team Leader at Docebo, you will be crucial in supporting the Product Project Manager in software development analysis and the team's organizational activities.

You will serve as the focal point for the development team, guiding and directing the team members to deliver high-quality code, and troubleshooting technical issues that involve software development, engineering tasks, and product releases.

Reports to: Product Project Manager Location: Biassono or Milan, Italy (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

As a technical expert of the team, he/she collaborates with the other Technical Team Leaders, the Software Development Managers, and the Architects in the Docebo product engineering organization.

Assures the quality of the product following agreed quality assurance standards, the technologies, and the technical architecture chosen.

Splits the User Stories in a low-level/granular manner, defining specific Acceptance Criteria for the identified scenarios

Follows and respects the release process and in the live environments to facilitate the release of separate services and to improve Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Ownership, and COGS.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of developer position;

Understanding product development life cycle; understanding of SDLC including quality assurance, change management, and release processes;

Practical knowledge of backend programming languages (PHP or Node.JS preferred);

Experience in containerized (docker) applications;

Strong knowledge of Git versioning control tool;

Experience with unit testing, integration testing;

Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment;

Exceptional analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts;

Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

Basic knowledge of AWS or any cloud services;

Experience with serverless (Lambda) applications;

Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks;

Basic experience with any Fronted Development Framework (e.g. React, Angular, Vue);

Basic knowledge and correct use of Gherkin for writing acceptance criteria;

Basic knowledge of DevOps practices.
