Senior Backend Java Developer

Alpharetta, GA

Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week

12 month contract with extensions

MUST BE STRONG IN DEVELOPING MICROSERVICES APPLICATION SPRING BOOT & JAVA AND REST API.

Experience in JAVASCRIPT is a plus / not required

Position Summary:

10+ years of strong hands-on experience in developing microservice applications using Spring Boot, Java and J2EE frameworks

Experience in building highly scalable and responsive applications.

Strong knowledge in creating reusable APIs, REST and Web Services Experience with Cloud services, including Spring Cloud and Amazon Web Services.

Strong exposure to working in Agile, Scaled Agile based development environments

Strong experience in MongoDB, Amazon DB and Oracle database

Working knowledge in Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence

Experience with Test driven Development
