Hostess/Host

A high-end Midtown-based restaurant group comprised of several fine dining establishments is seeking experienced hosts/hostesses for full-time employment during lunch, and dinner shifts.

The ideal candidate is neat and professional in appearance, strives in a fast-paced environment, is a team player with great customer service skills, has prior experience in an upscale dining environment, and has an interest in the hospitality industry. OpenTable and Resy knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Greeting guests & identifying VIPs

Effectively communicating guest needs with the FOH/BOH teams and management and assisting with seating

Answering the phone

Making reservations and taking delivery and takeout orders, and room service orders

Interacting with guests and answering all questions in a professional and courteous manner

Able to stand for long periods

Must be open to working on weekends and holidays
