I would say experience with Oracle as a GL and ability to close the books, handle wires, etc. is the

Key Responsibilities Include:
General:
Monthly closing of the books – booking journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L analysis
Expense allocations
Occupancy related costs accounting and analysis
Fixed asset accounting
Broker Dealer accounting; includes Revenue coordination with deal team, expenses, work papers, regulatory filing, etc.
Coordination with internal and external auditors
Leveraging reporting systems, e.g. Essbase, Sigma and other reporting tools to support ad hoc requests. Requires attention to detail at granular levels.
Management of expense forecasting and budgeting
Sarbanes Oxley compliance
