The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pathology is seeking an accomplished Academic Forensic Toxicologist for a position at the rank of Instructor in conjunction with a position at Dallas County's Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences to be the technical supervisor in the forensic chemistry section of the Dallas Medical Examiner's Office. The applicant must have a PhD or MD/PhD, and, if appropriate, the candidate must be eligible for a Texas medical license. The incumbent will be expected to participate in the education of the residents plus teaching with the clinical chemistry fellows from UT Southwestern who rotate at the Medical Examiner's Office. Candidate will hold a full-time position with Dallas County, as well as a part-time position with UTSW.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
