Summary

The purpose of the Inside Account Manager is to sell Ryder services to a broader untapped market, increase revenue and profitable growth. Retain current customers by contacting via telephone and selling/renewing lease contracts. Y_ our ability to build and maintain relationships is critical to the success in this role._

King of Prussia, PA

Nazareth, PA

Applicants from California, Colorado, New Jersey, New York City, and Washington:

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $55,000. Employees may also be eligible for commissions, as applicable.

Essential Functions

Have responsibility for revenue, quota, profit targets, and territory budget.

Sell Ryder products/services such as RydeSmart, insurance, fuel services, DCC Lite, etc.

Implement sales strategies/call prioritization to achieve revenue and targets.

Initiate sales calls to existing customers within assigned territories.

Establish and maintain good customer relations, with both internal and external customers.

Contact FMS lease customers (lease 3 trucks or fewer) and sell renewal business

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to build strong customer relationships

Demonstrated sales aptitude: assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated, excellent closing skills

Good mathematical ability

Excellent organizational skills

Effective time and activity management skills

Mature and self confident with ability to work under pressure

Must be goal oriented and able to reach and exceed monthly/year quotas

Ability to prioritize work with attention to detail

Aptitude for acquiring selling skills and product knowledge

Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment

Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Excellent systems literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, Internet advanced required

Able to utilize keyboard/PC to capture in a dynamic way, customer discovery advanced required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience required

Five (5) years or more successful sales experience (prior inside sales preferred) required

Five (5) years or more prior experience selling in a B2B environment required

Excellent systems literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, Internet advanced required

Able to utilize keyboard/PC to capture in a dynamic way, customer discovery advanced required
