Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op specializing in machining. You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, contributing directly to the development and optimization of machining processes. Your work will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and machine utilization.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and refine machining processes.

• Analyze manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

• Assist in the design and implementation of fixtures, tooling, and CNC programs.

• Support production operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and on-time delivery.

• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through process optimization and waste reduction.

You're a good fit if you have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam).

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Major:

Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, undergraduate students graduating in December 2024 or later

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a manufacturing environment.

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

• Maneuver around machinery and equipment safely.

Your success will be measured by:

• Timely completion of assigned projects and tasks.

• Reduction in machining cycle times and/or production costs.

• Improvement in product quality metrics.

• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
