Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site in Pembroke Pines /FL/ 33027 )

Position Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

Our Client is a leading workforce management company known for its cutting-edge technology solutions and innovative approach to business. They manage a vast network infrastructure comprising over 100 Windows Servers, Web, SQL, and various other critical components, on physical and virtual (VMware) servers.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security. This role involves managing a complex environment of Windows Servers, implementing network policies and procedures, troubleshooting network issues, and collaborating with other IT teams to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

● Administer and maintain our network infrastructure, including Windows Servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

● Install, configure, and optimize network hardware and software components to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

● Monitor network performance and security, proactively identify and resolve issues, and implement necessary changes to enhance performance and mitigate risks.

● Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

● Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and minimize downtime.

● Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement network upgrades, expansions, and new deployments.

● Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

● Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in network administration, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

● Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, managing large-scale network infrastructures, preferably in a Windows Server environment.

● Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.

● Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.

● Hands-on experience with network security tools and techniques, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.

● Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

● Good to have: Experience or certification as an Azure Administrator, including knowledge of Azure networking services and cloud infrastructure management.

● Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administration

● Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

● CompTIA Network+

● Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
