Experienced Sales Associate

By George & McGuire Moorman Retail Division are seeking Experienced Sales Associates Full-time and Part-time. By George, a designer/contemporary specialty store is seeking a professional, motivated, experienced and energetic sales associates at both our Lamar & South Congress locations. Applicants must have at least 3 years sales experience with extensive knowledge in customer service, clientele building, and lifestyle categories.

Position Requirements:

• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and target profitability

• Clientele building and maintenance through development of personal customer relationships and regular contact as styling consultant with a variety of people

• Develop expert knowledge of all contemporary and designer labels, products, pricing, systems and procedures

• Resolve customer issues in a timely manner with courtesy, respect and good ethics

• Effective and articulate communicator with creative approach to problem solving

• Eye for quality with a great sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends

• Impeccable contemporary professional appearance

• Must be able to maintain merchandising to present most favorable store appearance at all times and execute all assignments as requested

• Must be self motivated with a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit and active participation on sales floor

• Ability to motivate other sales team members with strong leadership skills

• Contribute to outstanding working environment with a positive attitude, professionalism and willingness to assist others

• Strong computer skills

• Must be flexible to work retail hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends

Skills/Talents Required:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma required

• Minimum 3 to 5 years retail sales/customer

• Exceptional sales and customer service skills

• Strong knowledge of both designer & contemporary labels or an interest to learn

• Excellent written and verbal communications

• Ability to work well in team environment

• Optimistic, outgoing, energetic personality
