Job Description

We are seeking part time Behavior Interventionists to join our team! Interventionist will be responsible for providing the behavioral therapy to the Client. Now hiring across the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

Key Performance Indicators

1. Attendance and Consistency

2. Adherence to Administrative Protocols

3. Adherence to Clinical Protocols

Key Clinical Functions

Interventionist will represent IBT in a professional, loyal, and ethical manner and will make daily decisions that are in accordance with IBT policies and procedures.

Acts as 1:1 interventionist to address behavioral issues and overall wellness.

Maintains HIPAA compliance.

Documents all time spent with client in client's file

Maintains accurate notes and documentation.

Interventionist will attend and take notes at all clinic meetings.

Interventionist will provide appropriate feedback and suggestions during each clinic meeting.

Interventionist will volunteer to demonstrate program during each clinic meeting.

Interventionist will review and initial communication log at the start of each session. Interventionist will adhere to the drills and techniques as specified in each child’s program.

Provide Parent generalization training

Qualifications:

Interventionist must be an active student or graduate from an accredited institution of higher learning

Interventionist must be credentialed as an active Registered Behavioral Technician on or before the end of the probation period.

Compassionate and caring demeanor

Ability to build rapport with clients

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Please note advertised pay scale is for BA/BS level staff. Non-Degreed staff pay scale range is $18.75/hr - $24/hrCompany Description

Innovative Behavioral Therapies (IBT) mission is to serve the needs of families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other pervasive developmental disabilities by providing comprehensive and individualized therapy services.

The goals of our services are: to identify and treat current challenging behaviors, teach new socially appropriate behaviors and adaptive skills, and educate families on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Using a collaborative model, IBT fosters communication among parents and relevant stakeholders (i.e. speech pathologist, occupational therapists, teachers, school psychologists, physicians) to provide effective and quality services to improve the lives of our clients.
