Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Blazerjobs is currently seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in San Antonio, TX. We have three openings available for passionate educators who are mitted to providing high-quality instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Position Details:

Self-Contained Teacher K-5: You will work with a self-contained classroom of students with special needs in grades kindergarten through fifth. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting curriculum materials, and providing differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.

Special Education Inclusion Teacher 6-11: You will collaborate with general education teachers to provide support and acmodations for students with disabilities in grades six through eleven. Your responsibilities will include co-teaching, modifying curriculum, and providing specialized instruction to ensure the academic success and social-emotional well-being of all students.

Special Education Inclusion Teacher K-5: Similar to the previous role, but focused on supporting students in grades kindergarten through fifth within the general education classroom setting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.

Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (Texas certification required).

Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices.

Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
