Job Location: Canada Salary: $20.00 -$25.00 hr Job Position: Lmia Mechanic Helper Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Part-Time, 40-60 hours per week Education: High School or Diploma Degree Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements Key Responsibilities: Assisting Mechanics: Support mechanics and technicians with various tasks, including handing them tools, retrieving parts, and assisting with vehicle repairs.

Follow instructions and ensure that tasks are completed accurately.

Shop Maintenance: Keep the repair shop clean, organized, and free from clutter.

This includes sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials.

Ensure that tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Parts Management: Help with managing inventory, including organizing parts and supplies, and notifying supervisors when inventory is low.

Assist with ordering and restocking parts as needed.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, under the supervision of a mechanic or technician.

Ensure that all work is completed to safety standards.

Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while working in the shop.

Adhere to company policies and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Customer Service: Occasionally interact with customers to answer basic questions or direct them to the appropriate staff member.

Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications: LMIA approval for Mechanic Helper position.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Basic knowledge of automotive tools and equipment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
