Key roles and responsibilities:

Proven software development experience and Android skills development

Developing code with third-party libraries and APIs

Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies

Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android

Good understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Programming

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Effective implementation of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Thorough understanding of the full software development lifecycle Appreciation of Android-specific asynchronous processing techniques

Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Qualifications:

3+ Years of experience in Android App development;

B.Tech/ B.E / M.Tech - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
