School bus driver

Job Description

To provide safe and efficient transportation for students in a cost-effective manner that supports the mission of Rohans Bus Service Inc.

Must be people-oriented and enjoy interacting with children.

Safely pick up and discharge students at authorized stops.

Exercise responsible leadership on routes.

Obey all traffic laws.

Check bus daily for mechanical defects and fuel and oil levels.

Complete assigned schedule.

Maintain a Class B license - with Air Brake, Passenger, and School endorsements.

Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.

Notify the Facilities/Operations Manager in case of mechanical failure or lateness.

Maintain a valid CDL and acceptable driving record at all times.

Enjoy nights, weekends, holidays, and the summers off.

Submit to and pass random drug and alcohol testing.

Before starting employment:

Must be able to pass an extensive background check.

Must meet requirements for State of Delaware physical and drug screenings.

We offer:

Pay $720 to $1000 a week rate

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Quarterly Bonus

CDL Training for new driver - Training hours will be reimbursed!

Additional Hours Available - Extra Opportunities!

Paid vacation after one year

Summer off or stay on with camp runs.

No Evenings or Weekends!
