Clinician I/II or Senior Licensed Clinician Alaska Behavioral Health

Residential Services Anchorage

Salary Range: $60,000 to $110,828

About the Team

The Residential team provides mental health residential treatment for adults with acute mental health needs who have not responded to outpatient treatment and have needs that cannot be met in a less restrictive setting or would benefit from further treatment following inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. The team provides medication services and individual and group services with a focus on skill development including communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution; life and social skills to restore functioning; and self-regulation, anger management, and other mood management skills.

What You’ll Do

Provide leadership aligned with the mission and values of Alaska Behavioral Health to a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Ensure compliance of program clinical records with internal policies, procedures, and external audit standards.

Collaborate with leadership and the Residential Team to identify community needs and develop innovative solutions, including grant proposals and resource development.

Oversee the client admission process and coordinate treatment and support services in conjunction with psychiatric providers.

Offer clinical guidance to clinical associates, peer support specialists, and floor staff.

Conduct clinical assessments and deliver direct clinical, rehabilitation, and support services to clients.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus: $10,000 for Unlicensed/Clinician I, $20,000 for Clinician II, and Senior Licensed Clinician.

CLINICIAN I

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to crisis situations, offering necessary services to effectively resolve them, while conducting clinical assessments to gauge risk and determine appropriate care levels.

Engage in regular individual and group supervision sessions.

Deliver behavioral health services utilizing evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Qualifications:

Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Unlicensed Clinicians will receive licensure support from AKBH.

Benefit from AKBH's provision of both individual and group clinical licensure supervision, essential for post-master's and post-doctoral clinical licenses.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $77,649 based on experience.

Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.

CLINICIAN II

Responsibilities:

Swiftly assess and address crisis situations, conducting evaluations to determine appropriate care pathways.

Engage in regular individual and group supervision, ensuring high-quality service provision.

Offer behavioral health services grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Provide supervision to Bachelor-level providers.

Qualifications:

Hold a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a relevant field.

Possess licensure as a Clinician (LPC, LMFT, LCSW required).

Salary ranges from $72,310 to $93,579 based on experience.

Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus, with annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.

SENIOR LICENSED CLINICIAN

Responsibilities:

Effectively manage crisis situations through prompt intervention and assessment, ensuring appropriate care levels.

Engage in regular individual and group supervision, with additional training opportunities provided.

Provide behavioral health services within the Anchorage area, utilizing evidence-based practices, including CBT.

Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans in compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.

Offer clinical supervision to unlicensed providers.

Qualifications:

Hold a Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a Master's degree in Social Work with LCSW licensure, or equivalent.

Possess 7-10 years of clinical experience, including two years in clinical supervision.

Demonstrate expertise in working with clients experiencing severe emotional disturbances (SED) and trauma-informed care.

Salary ranges from $85,637 to $110,828 based on experience.

Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus, with annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your salary.
