Mitsubishi Electronic Trane US is looking for a Learning Program Manager located in Suwanee, Georgia.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of the Human Resources team, this role is responsible for developing and communicating comprehensive learning & development opportunities for both organizational and employee-specific success under the direction of the Senior Manager of Talent. This requires both passion and experience for designing and executing learning experiences that engage and develop employees to meet current and future business needs. This creative talent will have the opportunity to work closely with all levels of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

Work closely with HR Business Partners to assess development needs and to incorporate learning goals into the performance management process.

Introduce innovation into the courseware and overall department services.

Apply project management skills, business acumen, and relationship management skills to managing instructional design projects.

Deliver innovative and effective training and development content, processes for various levels in the organization to close individual and organizational skill gaps.

Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.

Serves on Strategic Learning Council and assists with METUS University calendar of events.

Establish and execute a framework to ensure the implementation of learning and development solutions have the desired impact on performance and capabilities.

Review, evaluate and develop compliance training courses. Serve as liaison to Melco, MEUS, vendors, and others regarding HR compliance.

Creates instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.

Creates visual, audio and interactive learning tools.

Create and maintain course project plans to include design and delivery schedules.

Design course content for different modalities including in-person and virtual classroom experiences.

Monitor, review, and conduct program evaluations to improve program outcomes.

Compile and report training metrics.

Adjust deliverables to improve program metrics.

Participates in the 1st-year development program for new hires.

Responsible for uploading custom courses and podcasts into LMS.

Assists in facilitating custom workshops and events including onboarding and department-specific training programs.

Assist with maintaining employee training records including scheduling & coordination of ongoing training needs/requirements.

Assists with logistical efforts for venues, vendor contracts, curriculum providers and more.

Assigns training to new employees joining METUS.

Propose and implement process improvement strategies within the HR Department.

Willing to travel up to 15 % to for various Company meetings and training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field.

Preferred master’s degree in related discipline or additional certifications.

Minimum of 5 years progressive professional experience in Instructional Design, Internal Communications, Curriculum Design, Training, or other relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years program management, project management and LMS management.

Ability to learn the business and build relationships that lead to development initiatives that support the needs of the business and drive success.

Experience managing learning initiatives across multiple locations in a wide geographic area.

Experience with facilitating and presenting to all size groups.

Experience creating instructor-led training along with associated guides, job aids, and other training support documents

Experience developing course content.

Solid project management skills and ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively towards a common goal.

Solid understanding of adult learning principles, methodologies, and theories.

Familiarity with SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Learning, or other Talent Management System.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with and/or certified to facilitate assessment tools for individuals, leaders and teams a plus.

Prior experience with LEAN continuous improvement processes and associated learning methods preferred.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, exciting environment and working with individuals at all levels of the organization,

Ability to work in an independent manner as well as in group setting, be decisive and demonstrate exceptional judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Team player demonstrating desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $110,000/ year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
