Bid Notice Under Open International Bidding Retender For The Supply

BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN INTERNATIONAL BIDDING RETENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF REPLACEMENT ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTS FOR ISIMBA HPP - UEGCL/SPLS/22-23/20190 Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Replacement Electrical Instruments for Isimba HPP.

The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended and is open to all bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only) on Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited, Stanbic Bank, Projects A/C No: There shall not be a pre-bid meeting/site visit.

Documents may be inspected at, issued from, delivered to and bid opening from; Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited Block C, Victoria Office Park Plot 6-9, Okot Close Kampala Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00am of Friday 31st May, 2024.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 6,000,000- (Uganda Shillings Six Million Only). The bid security Contract Signature must be valid until 30th December, 2024.

Late bids shall be rejected.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11:10am of Friday 31st May, 2024.
