Your role within the company:

Hudson Yards is currently seeking a full time Guest Services Coordinator who will be responsible for interacting with customers. The coordinator will be a multi-tasker, detail oriented, and an engaging team player willing to take initiative. The ideal candidate has experience using ticketing systems in an attraction or performing arts environment. They will be part of the core team that will help achieve the sales goals of Hudson Yards Experiences.

Responsibilities:

Answers all inquiries for Hudson Yards Experiences and Hudson Yards shops

Utilizes talking points when answering calls, emails, customer tickets, chat/text function, and internal communication platforms in a timely manner

Determines requirements when working with customers and internal team members including, but not limited to, ticket exchange/refund requests, military discounts, 3rd party partner orders, complimentary orders, and group orders/inquiries

Resolves problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems; staying up to date with all information updates provided by reports

Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions, and forwarding requests

Sells additional products by recognizing opportunities to up-sell orders to maximize revenue

Completes all tasks related to core job functions including, but not limited to, ticket sales, group ticket sales, and working hand in hand with Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, and 3rd party partners

Maintains Guest Services database(s) by accurately entering information

Keeps equipment operational by following established procedures, and reporting malfunctions

Embodies and enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership and accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to Hudson Yards Experiences.

Compensation:

$25.00 - $25.00/Hour

Qualifications:

One year of ticketing and/or customer service experience

Comfortable learning and mastering CRM system

Exemplary listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Friendly, welcoming, and warm demeanor towards colleagues and guests

Poised under pressure

Ability to stand and climb stairs for the duration of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
