CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Responsibilities:

Work as MOC (Management of Change) specialist for Engineering Services Department.

Responsible for keeping any drawings related to the piping discipline at the refinery current and up-to-date.

Job duties include drawing Process and Instrument Diagrams for various units, drawing plot plans, drawing maps, drawing PFDs and SFDs, web page creation/editing/maintenance, Access database programming, scanning and attributing Adobe PDF files, writing and modifying a variety of scripts and LISP routines, reviewing and modifying refinery Standard Drawings, software and hardware support, training of new and existing users in CAD standards.

Design, develop, maintain and modify a variety of databases, with multiple users for each.

Responsible for keeping Microstation products running correctly and efficiently within the Engineering Services Department, and also responsible for frequent installation or modification of Microstation products plant-wide.

Organize and run learning sessions for various engineering firms, to teach Valero CAD standards and methodology.

Qualifications:

5 years Microstation experience a must.

10+ years design experience.

Self-starter; able to work with little direction.

Great communicator.

Knowledge of a variety of software programs.

Organization skills.
