We are looking for Field Service Technician who travels 80% of the time. We are eager to talk to people with the below credentials,

1. Recent graduates with Associates in Electrical Engineering or related field

2. Military vets with electrical or mechanical technician background

3. Hands-on field techs who work on capital equipment, telecom or related industries

We will teach you! In addition to in-classroom training, you will be mentored to learn all you need to know to become an Xeikon equipment expert. Training ramp up time is 3 to 4 months and during this time you will travel side by side with other experienced Xeikon Technicians. They will show you the ropes.

We are currently hiring Field Service Technicians at Philadelphia, PA. (travel all over the US).

Communicates with customers on all call activities up to and including scheduled arrival time, scheduled calls, and any deviation that may have occurred.

Troubleshoot and diagnose failures, execute repairs at the customer site.

Completes repairs within standard guidelines as set by the company: repair time, quality of repairs, amount of rework, quantity of repairs, labor efficiency and other measures

Maintain a parts inventory and ship back parts, when necessary, at the end of service calls

Provide status online during the day including updating service call activity and keeping management aware of any issues requiring additional attention

Participation is special projects as requested

Requirements

Degree or certification in electrical engineering or technical field is a plus

Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills is a must

Previous field experience and familiarity with "road warrior" travel is helpful

Willingness to travel 80+% of the time with little notice is required, in this position you should not expect to be home Monday-Friday and should have the flexibility to work on call including weekends

Knowledge of the printing industry is a plus

Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and computer skills

Ability to regularly lifts and/or move up to 25 lbs. and to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally move more than 100 lbs.
