NYC IN-HOUSE COUNSEL/REAL ESTATE LITIGATION ATTORNEY

A property management company based in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn is looking for an experienced litigator. The attorney will work primarily from the Brooklyn office, but will be asked to litigate in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island Housing Courts on residential holdover and non-payment cases. Landlord tenant experience is NOT required, but must have extensive experience litigating in NY state court.

The company has around 100 employees and is a subsidiary of its larger parent organization, which owns hundreds of thousands of square feet along the East Coast. The attorney will be part of a nice, fun, tight-knit group based in a brand new office building in Brooklyn. The attorney must be willing to come to the office five-days a week.

The attorney will work directly with the General Counsel as well as the two other in-house attorneys on the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a supportive team while working on challenging cases.

The position offers a base salary of $150,000-170,000, depending on experience, plus a year-end bonus, health and retirement benefits, as well as Jewish holidays off. Office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
