Store Production Associate

Job Objective: Process donated goods in the back room of a store or the warehouse.

Follow all procedures as set out by The Salvation Army in the handling and processing of these goods.

Provide excellent customer service to our shoppers and donors.

Maintaining a clean and well-organized work and shopping experience.

Handling each transaction with accuracy.

Essential Functions: Sort, tag, and price merchandise as instructed.

Track production numbers and reports in the assigned location.

Moves priced merchandise to the floor for display and stocking or to the designated shipping location in the warehouse.

Assists donors with donations, Completes donation receipts, collects donor information, and tracks donors.

Power sorting donations into the correct bins.

Receives ARC Center Trucks and assists to load, unload and move products to the correct departments.

Maintain clean work and storage spaces.

Follows all Salvation Army policies regarding the sale of merchandise.

Assist in keeping the floor stocked and putting new merchandise out as assigned.

-Work to meet the production goals for the store each day as needed.

Must be available for a flexible schedule.

Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, certifications, skills, and/or abilities required for this position . Education: High School Diploma or currently pursuing.

Skills/Abilities: - Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.

- Basic computer skills include but are not limited to the use of payroll programs and the ability to learn other programs or systems that are adopted by the TSA ARC.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Ability to use basic math skills.

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background test.

Travel: Occasional travel to other stores or for training Working Conditions: The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.

The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather.

May stand for extended periods.

Full-time/Part-time position; will require weekend and evening hours.
