Our partnered client, a well known distributor within manufacturing is seeking an Account Executive to join their team. This is a permanent hybrid opportunity which would manage the strategic development of 60 key accounts. The successful candidate will hold a hunter mentality with strong client development and relationship building skills. This role will be working with decision makers at C-level influence on their business decisions. You will hold the ability to manage customer growth through a collaborative consultative approach to growing establish business revenue.
Responsibilities
Develop strategies to prospecting initiatives to drive revenue and growth within key accounts
Maintain growth of existing accounts and develop new business
Developing innovative ideas & solutions to influence customer decision
Develop relationships with key contacts to better understand customer needs
Identifying opportunity to drive business growth through customer feedback
Managing portfolio pipeline to meet KPI growth requirements for the role
Understanding of customer needs and peak seasons within their manufacturing business
Act as subject matter expert for customers
Further promote sustainability initiatives with customers to add value to products and services provided
Assure pipeline growth from new accounts through referrals and business leads
Work to expand business by broadening base of services purchased
Negotiate price and service packages
Maintain accurate customer information
Report results on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis
Monitor accounts and resolve problems relating to service processes or systems
Analyze the profitability of existing and potential business opportunities
Skills and Qualifications:
5 years Sales experience within distribution or manufacturing industry
Prior experience working with C-level suite contacts to grow business
Bilingual French/English is an added bonus but not required
Proven results in growth of established accounts
Comfortable working within a revenue driven role through client relationships
Holds a hunter mentality with the ability to grow revenue from key accounts
Offering strategic approach to client management and business development
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Proficient computer use; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
This is a hybrid role based out of Mississauga ON. The expectation will be two days per week within the head office
