POSITION SUMMARY:
The Office Administrator will act as the first and positive point of contact in the office, representing Darling Ingredients professionally and with diligence at all times. The Office Administrator will work with the rest of the staff as required. At the front desk, you will cover phone reception, mail collection, arrange/receive couriers, and file documents. General office administration duties include purchase and maintenance of office supplies, management and maintenance of office systems, equipment and suppliers, and act as coordinator for all issues related to office building.
POSITION TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A/R Administration tasks
Deposit preparation and scanning to bank
Credit card payment processing
Filing and on-going upkeep of document storage
New supplier setup requests for the location
First point of contact for front door and phone inquiries
Coordinate courier and deliveries, distribute mail
Open and forward email correspondence
Order supplies, arrange for office services as required
Support virtual Phone System
Issue security badges and access as required
Distribution of internal communications
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years Administrative Office experience, post-secondary education in Business and/or Office Administration an asset
Strong computer skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Dedicated, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and balance priorities
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills
Problem solving and analytical skills with proven process optimization abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to excel in a team environment
