Western Regional Sales Manager

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

Ø Duties and responsibilities as Regional Sales Manager for Western Region.

Ø Build up strategy/business plan for each targeted market segment & specific actions plans

Ø Achieve your sales forecast for your territory.

Ø Develop, manage sales channel: Reps/Distributors/System Integrators, etc.

Ø Promote LS ELECTRIC to key stakeholders and keep them abreast of the latest product & solution offerings.

Ø Develop and maintain pipelines of opportunities for business growth via LS’s SalesForce CRM.

Ø Obtain LS ELECTRIC approval on bid/vendor lists of targeted OEMs, etc.

Ø Negotiate and win opportunities directly with customers on targeted projects.

Ø Drive and support product & solution development efforts that address customer needs.

Ø Support analysis of strengths & weaknesses of current business and market intelligence process with respective teams

Ø Ad-hoc duties task by Regional Sales Manager, (direct manager) or other Senior Management.

Qualifications

Ø Degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering, marketing, or equivalent experience

Ø Excellent Product Knowledge,; Automation (VFDs, HMIs, PLCs) and EP( Contactors, Circuit Breakers)

Ø 5+ years of experience in sales/business development in the West Region especially California

Ø Solid understanding of the undertakings and applications in one or more of the following segments - Agriculture, Irrigation, Pumping, Renewable Energy & Industrial Control

Ø High level of communication readiness, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, team orientation, resilience, and social competence

Ø Excellent presentation and negotiation skills Intercultural experience and sensitivity

Ø Experience with Reps, OEMs and Distribution required.

Ø Ability to train sales channel and customers on key products and solutions.

Other

Ø Positive influence/force on working with internal and external teams

Ø Strong work ethic with history of working remotely from HQ

Ø Willing to travel as required with upwards of 50% at times

Reports into the Director of Sales
