Huntington Learning Center is one of the largest K-12 Supplemental Education providers in the country. At our Fairfax Center, we provide individualized academic programs based on the specific educational needs of each student. We assess students and determine any "holes" or gaps in their academic foundation. We then follow prescribed academic programs to bring students' skills up to the point where they can work confidently and successfully at grade level. We focus on reading, writing, math and study skills. Programs also include us meeting with parents and teachers from school to ensure that each student has a program that best suits their needs. Our center is also an accredited school (MSA-CESS). but we primarily focus on bringing student's foundational skills up to grade level in the following foundational academic areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Phonics, and Study Skills

We are seeking passionate, dependable educators with a mimimum of a college degree. You will get the opportunity to work with students from their first day until they finish at grade level, usually 5-10 months later. As an educator, it is a very fulfilling undertaking. You will use a program that will allow you to easily access all curricula, allowing you to focus on engaging with the student. If you are looking for a meaningful opportunity to make a difference by helping students recover from learning loss during the pandemic, this position may be a good fit for you. A big perk of this job is the flexibility to adjust the hours you are available from week to week to accommodate your changing schedule.

Benefits/ Compensation

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
