JOB TITLE: Shuttle Manager

DIVISION/LOCATION: Sarasota, FL

Payrate $17.50 per hour

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic Function – Assist in the day-to-day management of a shuttle operation ensuring that operations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location, adhering to company policies and procedures, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business.

Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.

Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned location.

Train frontline employees and provide them with the appropriate coaching and tools to perform at their best

Courteously assist customers.

Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.

Substitute as a driver if necessary

Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the shuttle operation, transportation route, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.

Handle personnel issues and paperwork from hiring termination and training of support staff as directed by Facility Manager and Human Resources

Assist Supervisor with Operator sign-in and sign-out

Completing Daily Attestation (COVID) Health Questionnaire

Radio check-in and check-out

Ensuring drivers are in correct uniforms with badges

Assigning shuttle assignments

Assigning buses to correct loading gates and communicating with airport guests

Assisting in efficient and safe movement of buses in the bus plaza

Supporting driving as operational conditions require

Recording maintenance issues on buses

Monitoring communication with dispatch for smooth operation

Tracking work hours to avoid overtime and DOT hours

Monitoring operators' correct breaks

Logging fuel levels and coordinating with porters for cleaning

Sanitizing touch points during downtime

Encouraging and monitoring drivers in following safety procedures, including proper PPE usage, safe bus movement, and proper bus sanitation during shifts

Complete other duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience: Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimal month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years of Prior shuttle operations supervisory experience a plus.

Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

License Requirement: The employee will be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
