Pay: $18.50 - $20.50

Available Shifts

2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Location: 11505 38th St S, Horace, ND 58047

Summary:

The Sanitation Technician performs cleaning and sanitizing duties on equipment and tools such as industrial pumps, automated filling equipment, process piping, floors, walls, etc., within a food processing establishment.

Responsibilities:

Safely clean and sanitizing equipment, tools, and facility to ensure all soil and contaminates are removed per procedures

Tear down equipment and use chemicals to clean and sanitize, then reassemble equipment.

Handle and use hazardous chemicals, including acids, chlorines, and caustics

Work from heights utilizing ladders and aerial lifting equipment

Operate industrial equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and pressure washers

Following sanitation schedules to conduct and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line

Using chemicals per stated concentrations and in appropriate applications and doing proper documentation of usage.

Read and write and able to communicate well with others verbally

Attend scheduled shifts and arrive on time.

Be a team player and interact professionally with co-workers

Qualifications:

1-year experience of sanitation in an industrial food processing or production environment preferred.

Understand simple instructions, training materials, and product labeling.

Perform basic math for dilutions and work with cleaning chemicals.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to read, speak and comprehend basic English for safety and quality purposes.

Able to work independently and be reliable.

Ability to operate a forklift, preferred
