We are hiring!
5 Day Shift (varied 3 weekdays with MANDATORY Saturday & Sunday) (*Holidays)
Strict/Enforced 8:30am start time
Workday finished upon completion of individual daily assignment.
Marriott designated time per various style of room (King, Queens, and Suites)
1/2 hour Lunch (if desired)
Allowable overtime, with Manager Approval
Individual standards/quality room sign-off on work after 30 days, (or before if warranted)
Essential Job Functions
· Clean guest rooms according to standards within allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
· Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
· Dust, Clean and Polish furniture and fixtures
· Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
· Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
· Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
· Perform other duties as requested by management.
· Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
· Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
Position Requirements
· Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
· Understand and communicate in English.
· Dependable Mode of Transportation for all seasons.
· High School diploma preferred.
Work Environment and Context
· *Holiday paid after 90 days or employment.
· Call-outs and missed work will be logged/processed accordingly by Management.
· Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing and pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds and use of cleaning chemicals.
