KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receivables Functions
Prepare client invoices and credit notes in an accurate and timely manner, including the complete capture of necessary information, analysis and computations on the billing working files.
Liaise with functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data are gathered for billings and accruals purposes.
Liaise with PwC counterparts to follow-up outstanding receivables, ensure timely collections and escalations, and ensure that intercompany transactions are reconciled accordingly.
Maintenance and timely updating of receivable databases such as ageing reports, collection reports, billbacks, and monthly subsidiary ledgers for receivables in SAP, including the necessary analysis on the USD to PHP reconciliations and revaluations.
Organize and maintain financial records/files, including official receipts.
Treasury Functions
Monitor and ensure SEC investments compliance are accounted for and in-place.
Prepare monthly operational funding requirements up to transacting with the bank.
Ensure corporate records are up to date.
Application, deactivations, and corporate updates for corporate credit cards.
Liaise with the Bank's Account/Branch Manager regarding any bank related operational issues and requirements of the Company.
General Accounting Functions
Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, account reconciliation schedules, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Assist in audit activities – attend to queries from internal and external auditors.
Contribute to process improvements for efficiency purposes.
Participate in ad hoc tasks, projects, documentation and reporting.
Assist the Accounting Manager for day to day transactions and special projects requiring team input and analysis.
Educational Background
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Essential Requirements
More than 3 years professional experience in receivables, treasury and general accounting functions
Highly analytical on accounts reconciliations and reports
Ability to propose process improvements
Keen attention to details
Proficiency in G Suite and MS Office
Knowledgeable in SAP or any accounting system
Strong knowledge of related accounting functions and business concepts
Good communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
CPA would be an advantage, but not required
Other capabilities
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter who is able to work independently and flexible to work outside office hours, if required.
