Elementary Teacher Intern
A KIS education centers on inquiry and applied learning principles. We seek teachers who are excited to join a faculty who collaborate to create relevant learning opportunities. As an international school, cultural competency is essential to our community. And just as our teachers support student growth, KIS encourages faculty members to engage in professional development that grows their vocation. KIS works to continually improve the educational experience and benefits from the knowledge and ideas all faculty members contribute.
KIS Elementary School educates the whole child, believing each day holds growth potential. The Early Learning Program is inspired by the early childhood educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia. ES Interns are defined as applicants who are recent graduates who need to build up their resumes to become full-time teachers. Applicants must have an active teaching license or credential from a state or province, also, must not have more than 1 year of teaching experience. Interns connect with colleagues, parents, and school counselors to ensure the academic and social-emotional support of all students. Our elementary school environment is safe, inclusive, and vibrant.
