Job Description
We are currently seeking a professional, quality mechanic to help maintain a large ground transportation fleet (10-20 limos, buses, etc.) One who will diagnose, not a “parts changer” efficiently manage time.
Job Duties:
Complete range of auto maintenance and repair specialties including: Engine Work (Diesel, Gas), Brakes (Traditional & Air Brakes), Steering & Suspension Systems, Heating & AC Systems, Welding, Electrical (Charging systems, Exterior and Interior LED & Strobe Lighting and other accessories), Video & Audio systems in vehicles, Light line maintenance on all vehicles, Tires, Custom work, and more.
Complete DOT inspections and maintain current records: DOT inspections, maintenance & repair records
The fleet: The majority of the fleet are Ford vehicles, with several Chrysler, GMC, Detroit, & Mercedes. We have sedans, limousines, SUV's, Mini Coaches, Cummins trolleys, and vans.
The ideal candidate will be:
ASE Certified Automotive mechanic a plus or a lot of experience to fix just about anything in our industry
A creative thinker and problem-solver who is willing to learn & research to solve all problems
Excellent at diagnosing root cause issues to prevent installation of unnecessary parts
Very independent, organized mechanic with lots of experience and vast knowledge in our industry
One who works well with little supervision and manages time well.
One with a great attitude who likes to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment
A team-player who interacts professionally with our chauffeurs, vendors, & clients.

Available to work evenings and/or weekends when needed for to resolve mechanical issues
Experience with custom vehicles built for Livery Industry
Applicant Requirements:
Experience and be well rounded for commercial vehicles / buses.
Previous heavy line shop experience, as we do everything from drivability to heavy line work.
Current DOT Health Card, CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements
Must Supply own tools
Complete and pass a background check and drug screening
