Job Description

We're seeking a talented attorney to join our team! You will assist in negotiating settlements, and preparing documents and correspondence as needed. Additionally, you will work alongside experienced litigators to prepare cases for trial. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience, or a desire to learn personal injury law, and is customer focused, empathic, and driven. Prior personal injury experience is preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage, supervise and negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers, as well as resolve outstanding medical balances with providers

Request and obtain medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during the course of treatment

Secure other documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions

Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure updated records and account balances

Communicate with existing and potential clients, via telephone and in person

Effectively manage and maintain a high volume of cases

Partner with coworkers involved in the management and support of injury files

Litigate case from the initial stages to jury trial

Qualifications

Law degree from a fully accredited law school

An active member in good standing with the Florida Bar Association

Ability to manage high volume of cases

Excellent client service and communication skills

Self-starter driven by long-term career goals

Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

License/Certification: Florida Bar License (Required)Company Description
