CW Metals is a Minnesota based leader in metal recycling that specializes in processing non-ferrous metals, and ferrous metals. CW Metals has the necessary equipment to handle any shipment and regularly services large scrap dealers, salvage yards, machine shops, fabricators and contractors such as; siders, HVAC, electricians, plumbers etc. CW also handles industrial accounts requiring regular turnover of metal in roll -offs, luggers and boxes. Our parent company Crow Wing Recycling is a family-owned business headquartered in Brainerd, MN and operates in 9 locations throughout the state.

We are currently looking for a Class A CDL Driver to join our team out of our Lakeville, MN location. You will follow direction set by the trucking dispatcher/supervisor. The essential functions may include, but not limited to, hauling different types of material in and out of the

facility, going to various customers sites, inspecting vehicles for mechanical or safety issues. We offer daily routes within MN and neighboring states to allow you time to get back home, no weekends, steady work and pay!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries and pick-ups

Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs

Ensure equipment is safe and up to DOT standards before leaving each day by performing daily inspections and post trip

Safely and efficiently unload loads and ensure the material getting loaded is safe.

Obtain paperwork from customers and ensure it reaches the appropriate destinations

Map various routes. Arrive by time set by dispatcher

Maintain electronic logs

Track and report working hours

Skills And Qualifications:

High School diploma and 1-3 years’ driving experience

Current DOT medical card and ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen. Physically and mentally fit

Hold a Class A commercial driver’s license and have experience with 53’ tractor trailer vans, end dumps, luggers, flatbeds, rollbacks and roll-offs

Legally eligible to work in the USA

Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions: hot, cold, dust, indoors and outdoors

Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful

Proficient using GPS and other routing systems

Must pass a driving test within our company’s expectations
