About the role

In our newly created Construction & Switching Manager role, your contributions will have a direct impact on our success. You will be responsible for directing and leading construction activities related distribution powerline projects, ensuring compliance to contractual agreements.

Key responsibilities

Conduct HV & LV Switching to facilitate safe access to the network

Development & submission of eNAR for planned works

Managing Crew Leaders to uphold the highest standards of safety and performance

Management of all delivery resources ensuring appropriate tooling, plant and material levels

Provide technical guidance, advice and mentoring to field workers

Achieve budgeted margin on projects

Manage operation activities including scheduling, training

About You

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety, leadership, integrity and innovation. Your qualifications and experience should include:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the ESI in a management role such as Site Manager, Foreman, Supervisor, or Leading Hand

Experience leading a team of Lineworkers, particularly in Live Line Glove & Barrier works

Possess relevant trade qualifications either an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Distribution Linesman/Jointer

Switching Qualifications; UEPOPS116 Operate local H.V. switchgear & UEPOPS117 Operate local L.V. switchgear

Drivers Licence

Construction White Card

Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards relevant to the Western Australia

Ability to build a strong team and invest in their growth

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
