People Incorporated of Virginia is seeking applications for the position of Property Manager/Maintenance Technician for its Deskins and Gay Street properties. The position is 32 hours weekly with benefits. The qualified applicant is responsible for leasing and enforcing covenants and restrictions of multi-family and single family properties; rents receivable/record keeping; accounts payable for the property, physical maintenance, safety of the property and tenants, maintenance staff supervision and marketing in addition to building and grounds maintenance and repairs to include minor electric, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, prompt handling of all resident service requests, cleaning and painting of vacant apartments.

Have excellent oral and written communications skills as well as mathematical skills
Have basic electric, plumbing and mechanical skills
Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
