Extrusion Machine Operator

Summary:

Successful candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The job demands adherence to the listed knowledge, skills, and abilities. Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7 AM 5:30 PM (four 10-hour days) with a 30-minute lunch break.

Essential Functions:

Fabrication: Produce thermo-plastic products and materials that align with customer quality standards.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections, time, and material usage.

Process Adherence: Follow all process instructions accurately when producing customer parts.

Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized.

Traceability and Identification: Ensure part traceability and maintain identification requirements.

Material Management: Keep the raw material storage area well-organized.

Work Order Compliance: Execute duties according to specific work orders, utilizing correct equipment, materials, and packaging.

Standard Compliance: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to comply with industry regulations and maintain quality standards.

Inspection: Inspect products through visual examination, testing, verifying measurements, and documenting results.

Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma/GED, or equivalent work experience.

Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and listening skills.

Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
