The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our creative teams dedicated to crafting solutions from concept to final implementation, working across Prenuvo, and leveraging an array of inputs from market analysis to primary research to identify and define new concepts and refine existing products. At Prenuvo, product design serves as the heartbeat of our creative practice. Our product designers conceptualize and craft customer-centric experiences at the intersection of healthcare, design, business, and technology. Empowered to design from initial concept through final implementation, our product designers partner with Product Owners and the Clinical Engineering team. They enjoy rolling up their sleeves to solve complex and evolving healthcare challenges, with a pixel-perfect obsession for creating the future of healthcare today. What You’ll Do:

Support the Creative Practice using well-refined Product and Service Design skills

Organize and facilitate collaborative work across products with cross team dependencies

Utilize insights and analysis to inform decisions, as well as identify where research is needed

Craft modern compliant, engaging user experience that solve both user and business needs

Be able to design at the intersection of healthcare, design, business, and technology

Be a reliable hands-on contributor who can shift between strategic and craft focus

Be dedicated to designing within and pushing the constraints of the healthcare industry

Continually advocate for design thinking, process, and craft in our clinical setting

Define and deliver effortless, intuitive experiences for emerging products and services

Love learning new things; thrive on ambiguity, and are passionate about design

What You’ll Bring

4+ years of using human-centered design to solve healthcare opportunities

Familiarity with issues surrounding innovative healthcare strategic product design

Understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and healthcare systems

Fluent in accessibility and appreciate the regulatory demands such as HIPAA and FDA

Knowledge and experience in medical imaging processes and different imaging modalities

Understanding the clinical workflows, terminology, and challenges of medical imaging

Familiarity with Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standards

Experience in designing for the Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)

Experience in designing virtual reality (VR) and 3D image visualization software

BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience in a clinical setting

Exemplary design and strategy skills showcased in a portfolio of recent work

Ability to turn ideas from research into prototypes to conduct effective research

Industry advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in healthcare design solutions

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and verbal communication skills

Comfortable moving from vision to execution to create bar-raising products

Contribute to UX best practices while continually advocating for design thinking

A portfolio showcasing previous design projects, particularly those related to clinical or healthcare settings, demonstrating your skills and experience in solving complex design challenges. Experience with medical imaging products is a plus

The base salary for this role ranges from $88,050- $130,187 in local currency
