The A.C. Coy Company is currently seeking candidates for a full-time IT Administrator role. This individual will be responsible for for providing technical support to internal employees, resolving hardware and software issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

There will be occasional short-term travel to a satellite office near Pittsburgh, PA, as needed for projects or emergencies.

Responsibilities

End-User Support:

Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues.

Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes for employees, ensuring proper setup and decommissioning of IT resources.

Respond to off-hours alerting for office related issues that would require intervention (power outages, temperature issues, etc)

Software and Hardware Maintenance:

Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.

Conduct regular hardware and software updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with vendors for equipment repairs and warranty claims.

Network and Connectivity:

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist with VPN configurations.

Monitor and maintain security protocols, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of company data.

Documentation and Training:

Create and update technical documentation, including FAQs and user guides.

Provide training and support to employees on IT-related tools and processes.

Manage inventory and assets.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other IT team members to address complex technical issues and projects.

Collaborate with department heads to understand specific IT needs and requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

3+ years of experience in an IT Support role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services.

Experience working within an Active Directory environment.

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline

IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional)

Familiarity with Cisco Meraki
