Job Title:Front Office Supervisor

Department:Front Office

Reports to:Front Office Manager

The Front Office Supervisor oversees the front office team and ensures that attentive, courteous, and efficient service is provided to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with Hotel standards.

Maintain proper operation of the PBX console and ensure that all hotel standards are met

Trains and directs the workflow and processes of the front desk

Allocates rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guest's preferences and special requests.

Resolves customer issues, in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service

Next Level Duties:

Follow all cash handling and credit policies.

Participates in hotel committees and task force assignments

Produces hotel front desk schedules

Ensures time and attendance policies and payroll are accurately reflected

Be familiar with hospitality terminology.

Have knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed.

Ensures front desk supplies are stocked and computer equipment functioning properly

Must-Have Personal Qualifications:

At least 2 years of hotel or customer service experience preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

College coursework in a related field preferred.
